Everyday I walk this earth I give thanks to the one person who gave birth to me "my mother "for carrying me around for nine months and giving birth to me. My name is David Ruggeri and I was born in July 25 1985 in Van Nuys California. It only hit me the way I take this small introduction "I was born in" for granted. Because there are millions of human beings who never get a chance to even be born in the first place, but become victims of abortion while still in their mother's wombs. It is estimated millions of babies are aborted in America every year through controlled abortion and also illegal abortion. I often wonder why people or should I say women choose to abort children when as a matter of fact children are a blessing in this world. Some of the women who abort say that they do it because they are not yet ready to have children. Others say they are too young to be tied down with children while others say they are aborting because they don't want to get children out of wedlock in fear of shaming their families. Quite tragic for the unborn infants I must say every time I hear a million and one excuses as to why they are aborted.
Recently there has being an on going debate as to whether abortion should be made illegal or not, groups like planned parenthood are pushing for the legislation of laws which will protect women and make them continue enjoying the so called privilege of aborting unborn babies. They claim a woman has the right to do whatever she wants with her own body, while other groups opposed to this Planned Parenthood organization claim that it will be an abuse of the human rights of unborn children if other women continue aborting babies. Of course I do not support abortion and believe if a woman doesn't want a child she should just wait for nine months, give birth and offer the baby up for adoption. Not only is abortion dangerous to the health of the mother but it also leads to emotional trauma for the person who aborted the child. I hear women who do this are haunted by those painful memories and often suffer from stress and depression for the rest of their lives. I would like to hear your humble opinions about this burning topic.
